Dan Walsh, MS

Founder and Principal Partner – Data Analytics Consulting

Dan is the founder of Concord Analytics, LLC. A seasoned data scientist with 10 years in the healthcare sector, Dan earned his masters in data science and analytics at the University of New Hampshire. Prior to founding the firm, Dan worked in private healthcare business and operational consulting. From 2013 to 2017, Dan founded and coordinated the New Hampshire Med Bank, New Hampshire’s only charitable pharmacy which collected and dispensed over $300,000 in medications to patients who could not afford their medications throughout the state. Dan managed this program along with working on other healthcare projects at the Foundation for Healthy Communities.

Dan completed his Master’s in Biophysics and Physiology at Georgetown University and has 4 years of pharmaceutical research experience in the fields of orthopaedic and cardiovascular research at Georgetown, UC Davis, and Cornell. After years of work in the research and healthcare sectors, Dan came to a crossroad in deciding how to focus his passion for healthcare more deeply. After being accepted to Tulane Medical School and the University of New Hampshire’s Master’s in Analytics program, Dan decided his heart and energies aligned more with the burgeoning field of data science. Dan now focuses on providing in-depth analyses and strategic recommendations for all industries while also growing the firm’s Healthcare Analytics branch.  

Dan is a native of Concord, New Hampshire but has lived and worked around the country before establishing Concord Analytics. When not working, he is an avid slackliner, rock climber, and paraglider. He also enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, snowboarding, traveling, and being outdoors. Dan speaks English and French.

 Michael Walsh, PhD

Principal – Net Zero Energy Consulting

Dr. Walsh is a leader in integrated decarbonization and energy system planning having overseen the Carbon Free Boston, Massachusetts Decarbonization Roadmap, and Rhode Island Carbon Pricing studies. He has extensive experience in integrated energy system modeling, technical project design and management, science communication, and stakeholder engagement.

Michael has worked in the academic and private sectors to deliver paradigm-shifting analysis and scientific research. His Department of Energy-funded research identified viable and sustainable technology pathways for microbial bioproducts. His work in city and regional decarbonization planning has elucidated the complex tradeoffs associated with building electrification, efficiency and renewable fuels. He has managed various projects using cutting edge analytical tools including integrated assessment modeling, technoeconomic analysis, energy system optimization, life cycle assessment, greenhouse gas impacts analysis, and integration of climate justice indicators.   

Michael holds a doctorate in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University where he was at the forefront of decarbonization planning. He represented the student body in developing one of the first institutional climate neutral strategies. Additionally, he was elected by the student body to the University’s Board of Trustees where he shepherded the plan though to adoption by the Board during the late 2000’s financial crisis. 

Dr. Walsh is currently on parental leave but is available for limited engagements and project planning for Spring 2021.

Shawn O’Connor, Esq., M.B.A

Principal – Strategy Consulting 

Shawn O’Connor has over 15 years of experience as a CEO and a strategy consultant serving clients globally. 

Shawn founded Stratus Prep, an innovative educational firm, in 2006 with just $5,000 in his apartment in New York City. Over the next 9 years, he grew Stratus Prep into a multi-million company with clients in 40+ states and 50+ countries as well as approximately 100 team members. Shawn sold Stratus Prep to a private equity firm in 2014 and stayed on as CEO for more than a year thereafter.

Shawn has previously advised some of the world’s largest companies as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman). He has experience across industries, from financial services to manufacturing, and across disciplines, including sales and marketing, operations, service optimization, finance, right sizing, and the successful execution of mergers and acquisitions.

Shawn is a part-time faculty member in the graduate management program at Harvard University. He has served on the boards of a variety of start ups as well as numerous non-profits focused on education, the arts, and innovation in combatting poverty.

Shawn earned his Masters in Business Administration with Highest Honors from Harvard Business School and his Juris Doctor cum laude from Harvard Law School. He graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and served as a Fulbright Scholar in Argentina.

Shawn is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese and is admitted to the bar in New York, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.

Chris Duhaime

Principal – Marketing Consulting

Chris Duhaime is the owner and Creative Director of Pivot Creative. As a lifelong resident of New Hampshire, Chris has been able to successfully move his small agency from the basement of his home to a beautiful mill style office space in downtown Manchester. His award-winning creative agency has proudly represented B2B, B2C and Non-Profit organizations throughout the country. From branding to websites Pivot has successfully launched regional and national campaigns that have resulted in impressive results for all of their clients. An active member on the Board of Directors of Best Buddies, NH, Chris is always looking for an excuse to give back to the community. He currently resides in Hooksett with his beautiful wife Jade, his two dogs Fenway and Charlie and their cat Chowder.
